Have to Start Somewhere

When Tractor Mac came to me, it was in pieces. The original owner was Cary's grandfather who used it on his horse farm dating back to the 1950's. It was passed on to Cary's father, Alan and has sat in pieces in various places for many years. Alan helped locate all of the parts and once we got them into the workshop so I could see what we were working with.

Welcome to Tractor Mac

My name is James. My daughter is Cecelia (Cece), my son is Sullivan (Sully) and my wife is Cary. My tractor is a 1952 Ferguson TO-30 named Tractor Mac. My daughter named it after one of her favorite books. Tractor Mac needs a lot of work. It belonged to Cary's grandfather and has been in pieces for many, many years. I'm looking forward to giving Mac new life. I hope to document the process through pictures on this blog. Please join us for the adventure!

Here are a few 1951/52 advertisements for the T0-30, from the book "Ferguson Advertising" by John Farnworth. This gives you an idea of what Tractor Mac will hopefully look like restored.
